Learning
A unique curriculum offerCurriculum
The whole setting was involved in planning our unique curriculum to ensure that it prioritised what we wanted to provide for children in our local community. We then incorporated guidance from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Birth to 5 Matters to ensure we included the breath of teaching that was necessary. You can view our current curriculum here.
We entwine cultural celebrations and topical experiences into our curriculum to give all children a sense of belonging and the skills to navigate the world as a global citizen. Our skilled staff carefully tailor the curriculum for each unique child, making sure that every child has universal, and carefully scaffolded experiences during their time at nursery.
Our weekly Friday morning sessions are now Forest School sessions for all children over 2 years. The Forest School is led by Ian, our Outdoor Education Lead and replaces the usual Nursery session.

- Physical Health – ‘Leading a healthy lifestyle’
- Emotional Well-being – ‘The freedom to be your true self’
